Are we talking federal or state? We should at least consider a “transaction tax.” I am told that for 1% to 1.5% transaction tax on everything in our economy, we could have all the government in SC we could stand and eliminate ALL other taxes. The key here would be including the many things which pay nothing now. It would also eliminate the objection so many have to the Fair Tax and the Flat Tax, which is that it is not graduated. A transaction tax graduates automatically because those who spend pay.
Thanks for offering this chance to vote on such an issue as this…

The government keeps adding taxes but what happens when the citizens start refusing to pay it?

I would like to vote in an impartial poll that includes the Flat Tax, which I think is fairer than even the Fair Tax.
